Wheelchair ramp installation begins with geometry and site conditions, not simply the length of a ramp kit. The entry height, available run, landings, supporting surface and manufacturer configuration all affect how a modular or prefabricated system can be laid out. We review the exact ramp and property before defining the installation.
Entry and ramp layout
Send the ramp system and clear photos of the entrance. Measure the rise from the lower surface to the entry when possible and show the space available for the ramp route.
Doors, walkways, landscaping and property boundaries can influence layout. We do not invent a ramp path from the product length alone.
Surface and anchoring
Tell us whether the system will stand on concrete, paving, a prepared surface or another condition. Manufacturer instructions may specify support, anchoring or landing requirements.
Concrete work, grading or structural changes are not assumed. If the site needs preparation before the ramp can be installed, that condition is separated in the quote.
Compliance claims require project-specific review
This page does not state that every installed ramp is automatically ADA- or code-compliant. Applicable requirements can depend on use, location, dimensions and local rules.
If a project has a documented specification, provide it with the request so the actual installation can be considered against that requirement.
Wheelchair ramps are part of mobility and home safety installation. For a smaller elevation change served by a prefabricated stair system, see home entry steps installation.
Send a wheelchair ramp installation request with the product, rise measurement, entrance photos, available layout and supporting-surface details.
Wheelchair Ramp Installation FAQ
What measurements are useful for a ramp quote?
The vertical rise and available horizontal space are helpful, along with photos of the entry and proposed route.
Is ground preparation included?
Not automatically. Grading, pads or concrete work are separate unless they have been reviewed as part of the project.
Do you guarantee ADA compliance?
No generic guarantee is made. Compliance depends on the actual project and applicable requirements.
Can a modular ramp be reconfigured?
Possibly, depending on the product and available components. Send the exact system and intended layout for review.
Are handrails part of the installation?
They can be when they are part of the supplied ramp configuration and included in the agreed scope.
