Sunroom and solarium kits are more complex than open shade structures because they can include wall panels, glazing, roof sections and building connection details. The scope must distinguish a manufacturer-designed kit installation from custom room construction.
Kit versus custom construction
Send the exact sunroom or solarium system, manufacturer drawings if available and photos of the intended site. A wall-mounted polycarbonate kit and a freestanding Charleston-style solarium can have very different connection details.
Custom framing, masonry or a room built from raw materials is not assumed under this service family.
Foundation and building connections
The supporting base must be ready for the kit. Where the system attaches to an existing wall or roof, those connection points need to be visible and suitable for the manufacturer's method.
Foundation construction, structural reinforcement and repair of existing building damage require separate assessment.
Panels, glazing and weather sealing
Assembly can include the kit's frame, wall/glazing panels, doors and roof components. Product-specified sealing steps can be part of the installation, but we do not make a generic leak-proof guarantee beyond the verified system and scope.
Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, permit and engineering needs are not automatically included.
This family sits within outdoor structure services but is distinct from screen rooms because glazing and enclosure details are different.
Send a sunroom or solarium quote request with the kit, site dimensions, foundation photos and connection details.
Sunroom and Solarium Installation FAQ
Is this service for a custom-built sunroom addition?
The page is focused on verified kit systems. Custom construction needs a separate project scope.
Can polycarbonate wall and roof panels be installed?
They can be when they are supplied components of the exact system and the base/connection points are ready.
Does installation include HVAC or electrical work?
No utility or HVAC work is assumed.
What about weather sealing?
Manufacturer-defined sealing steps can be part of the kit installation, but custom building-envelope repair is separate.
Are permits included?
Permit and engineering requirements must be reviewed for the specific property and project.
