Garage Storage Assembly & Installation

Garage Cabinet Installation

Share the garage cabinet system, wall type and layout. We review mounting points, vehicle clearance, anchoring needs and removal scope before quoting.

Quote-ready details

  • Exact product or model when known
  • Final assembly / installation location
  • Access, mounting, base or utility conditions
  • Removal, damaged or missing parts when relevant

Garage cabinets are part storage furniture and part mounted garage system, so the wall, floor and layout matter as much as the cabinet boxes. A multi-piece set has to fit around vehicles, doors, outlets and other garage equipment, and the mounting method has to match the supplied system. We start with the cabinet configuration and the actual garage rather than a generic cabinet count.

Lay out the cabinet run before installation

Send the product or system name and the number of cabinets. If the manufacturer provides a layout, include it; otherwise describe the wall where the units will be installed and any gaps that need to remain for doors, appliances or vehicles.

Large systems such as six-, seven- or multi-piece garage cabinetry sets can span a substantial wall. Measuring the available width and noting floor slope, baseboard conditions and overhead obstructions can prevent a layout conflict after the boxes are assembled.

Assembly and mounting are both part of the scope

The work may include assembling cabinet boxes, doors, drawers or shelves and then positioning or mounting units according to the product design. Wall-hung cabinets and base cabinets do not have the same attachment requirements, so the quote should identify which types are included.

We do not assume that a damaged wall, missing blocking or unsuitable mounting surface can be corrected as part of ordinary cabinet installation. Those conditions are reviewed separately.

Vehicle clearance and garage use

Final placement should leave the garage usable for the customer’s intended purpose. Tell us where vehicles park and whether cabinet doors or drawers could interfere with a car, garage door track or other storage equipment.

If old cabinets or racks occupy the wall now, identify whether they need removal. That work can be considered as a separate line item instead of being hidden inside the new installation.

Related storage systems

Garage cabinets sit within garage storage services. Open wall or ceiling storage may fit garage rack and shelving installation, while a mixed system of several organizers may be better described under garage organization assembly.

Request a garage cabinet quote with the system name, cabinet count, wall photos, layout measurements and any old-storage removal you want included.

Garage Cabinet Installation FAQ

What should I measure before requesting cabinet installation?

Measure the usable wall length and note doors, outlets, windows, garage equipment and vehicle clearance. Photos are helpful for understanding the whole wall.

Can you assemble and mount a multi-piece set?

Yes when the exact system, components and mounting requirements are known. Include the number and type of cabinets in the request.

Is removal of old garage cabinets included?

Not by default. Describe what is currently installed so removal can be scoped separately.

What if the wall is not ready for mounting?

That condition needs review. The service does not automatically include structural repair or rebuilding a mounting surface.

Do floor conditions matter?

They can for base cabinets or tall units. A sloped or uneven garage floor may affect final positioning and should be mentioned.
