TV stands and media cabinets need to be planned around both the furniture and the equipment that will use it. A low console, tall media tower and credenza have different assembly and anchoring needs, while shelves and cable openings can affect how the finished unit is positioned. We ask for the product and room rather than treating every media stand as the same box of panels.
Identify the media furniture
Send the model or product link. If the unit has doors, drawers, an electric fireplace insert, towers or wall-attached sections, mention those features because they can change the assembly sequence and final placement.
The service covers the furniture itself. Mounting a television to the wall is a separate technology service and should not be hidden inside media-furniture assembly.
Position around outlets and equipment
Choose the final wall before the build. Consider power outlets, cable entry points and the width of the television or audio equipment that will sit on or inside the unit. Moving a large assembled console after cables and devices have been installed can be inconvenient.
If the unit is tall or the manufacturer supplies anti-tip hardware, provide the wall information needed to review anchoring.
Assembly and hardware
Panels, shelves, doors and drawer components are installed according to the product instructions. Keep labeled hardware packages together and report damaged boards or missing fittings before the appointment.
We do not modify furniture to make an incompatible electronic device fit. The furniture dimensions and the equipment dimensions remain separate customer choices.
Connections to other services
Media furniture belongs to furniture assembly, while the screen itself may require TV mounting when wall installation is part of the project. Keeping those scopes separate makes it clear which work concerns furniture and which concerns the technology setup.
Send a media furniture assembly request with the model, final wall, access details and any anchoring or old-furniture handling you want considered.
TV Stand and Media Furniture Assembly FAQ
Does this service include mounting the TV on the wall?
No, wall mounting is a separate service. This page covers the TV stand, console, credenza or related media furniture.
Can you assemble a unit with drawers and doors?
Yes when those components are part of the supplied product and its instructions.
Should I connect my electronics before assembly?
It is usually better to establish the furniture and final placement first. Electronics can then be arranged around the completed unit.
Is anti-tip anchoring included?
It can be when required for the exact product and compatible with the installation wall.
What if a shelf or panel is damaged?
Send a photo if possible. A damaged structural component may need replacement before the furniture can be completed correctly.
